I came to yoga 15 ago. I had 1 year old twins and a 1 year old son.  I needed to find peace. I had to make time to do this. I had read that yoga was good for stretching and breathing and calming the mind. I found a gentle Hatha class at the local Technical college. It rocked my world, well it gently pushed it and changed my perspective. I was coping better, eating better and breathing better within 6 weeks. i have been an asthmatic since 3 , and always felt that my breath wasn't my own. It was always leaving my body too quickly. My first point of panic  used to be my breath, but that was before yoga. 
After this class I tried many different types of yoga and eventually came to Vinyasa. Vinyasa is a practice were the 
asanas (poses) flow together using the breath to glue it all. My breath is now my own, and because of that I cope better in life. If I could bottle it up and give it to you I would.
